• I love this book! A fabulous, faith filled, action packed sequel in the Stripling Warrior series where Keturah, Zeke and Gideon not only fight the Lamanites for their family's freedoms but also fight between the feelings in their own hearts.
  
  War is not the best time to fall in love with anyone, warns Keturah's brother. She responds, `I cannot help how I feel,' but neither can the other warriors help their feelings for her.
  
  I love this book. The characters are well developed. I love them and their inspiring dedication to God and doing what is right even when they aren't at all perfect. None of us are.
  
  This is a great book club or mother-daughter-talk book. It is an excellent icebreaker and full of all kinds of examples of introducing dating and relationships, respect and boundaries, love and fidelity, compatibility, etc. etc. Another discussion topic is following the spirit of God, what that means and how to identify it and know when you are doing it.
  
  This book also really inspired me to understand this Book of Mormon story better, imagining maps, terrain, culture and people. I think more about the people behind the stories as I read the scriptures.
  
  This is a great clean book. This book is pretty violent - more matter of fact violent, not gory or suspenseful. I am not into books with killing or death, but this book was just fine to me. I would recommend this book for all ages. This book can be read as a stand-alone, but is much better read as the second book in the series.
• This book was very well written. Most of the kindle books that I have read recently have so many editing mistakes in them that it is very distracting, but not so with this one, it is nearly perfect. Once I started reading it, I didn't want to put it down.
  After reading the first book 'Daughter of Helaman', I couldn't wait to read this one. The story is about Keturah, a strong willed young woman who is fighting with the stripling warriors. I've always loved the account of the striplings, and this book really brought that to life for me. Reading the scriptures is a whole new experience for me after reading these books. Keturah has to work hard and do everything 150% to gain the respect of the other striplings. I love the romance developing with her and Gid. Zeke is the 'boy next door' who everyone assumes she will marry, but although he really loves her, he doesn't understand her and why she has to fight. Gid, on the other hand, totally gets her but he wants a life with the army. Because of this, he is trying to fight the attraction he has for her but doesn't quite succeed. Keturah is very conflicted about her feelings for the two of them. This is a great romance story. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone, young and old. This is a very clean book and it is mainly written for a younger audience, but I am a grandma and absolutely loved it!!
• Fight For You picks up right where we left off in Keturah's life after Daughter of Helaman. Misty Moncur has done it again. Another great read. She did a great job in the second book in the series. From the very beginning you are drawn in and captivated. She has you stuck from page one. Once I started reading I didn't want to stop until it was done. I am already excited and looking forward for #3 to be released!!. You feel for Keturah as she struggles to find her place in an army full of young men, in her unit while the boys mock her and play tricks, and as she is pulled between her two young men. . . one who is most familiar who she has known her whole life but doesn't quite understand her and the other who is new but who understands her warrior heart. And there is a lot more of the handsome warrior, Gideon in this story!! It was a wonderful book. I highly recommend it!

• Wow. Misty Moncur knows how to write! The second book in her Stripling Warrior Series is unforgettable. I've read over the war chapter in the Book of Mormon, I know the stories, but never have I seen them come to life in vivid color with emotions, romance and action.
  
  Keturah has entered the band of stripling warriors, boys ages 12-18 who are fighting for the liberty of their fathers, children, homes and religion. Kit is is a daughter of Helaman, the only female to join the ranks. And this is no longer training with Gideon in the forest or sparring with her camp...this is the real battlefield and the ravages of war. Amongst the action there are moments of clarity and faith that stirred the Spirit within me and made me so grateful for the fortitude of leaders like Gideon. Men who not only led and loved, but who also knelt in prayer before going out to meet the enemy. They did not doubt their God would deliver them and angels sent to fight beside them.
  
  There are stolen moments of a love that is deepening and blooming like a moon flower.The tension is perfect. Kit has some hard decisions to make. Is she meant to be here? Will the man she loves return the commitment as a husband? And, will Zeke forgive her, can she accept the loyalty and attention of her childhood friend?
  
  I enjoyed the idea of healers who used herbs and the things of the earth traveling with the army to help.
  
  Wishing book three, which is due to be released in November were out today so I could keep reading. I'll be passing the Stripling Warrior series on to my children and family. And, I will never read about the Title of Liberty or Helaman's army the same again.
